Electricity Emergency Credit
If your balance falls between €1.00 and -€20.00 you can activate Emergency Credit.
To activate it on your Smart Pay meter, follow the steps below. Have a Classic Pay meter? Follow these steps. Not sure of your meter type? Find out more here.
Step 1: Open your app. Emergency Credit shows on the home screen in your app when it's available. Click on "More Information" to activate it. Download the app here.
Step 2: Click on the "Activate €20 Emergency Credit" button
Step 3: You'll get confirmation that Emergency Credit is active. If you had Lost Power, you'll be given the option to Restore Power now.
Repaying Electricity Emergency Credit
You'll need to have paid back any Emergency Credit you used before its available again.
