How do the sensors work?
The sensor uses sonar technology to measure your oil usage and tank levels 24/7.
That’s why you never have to worry about running low - because we always know how much oil you have. Once your levels hit approximately 20% of tank capacity, we automatically order your oil and deliver it.
It’s also why you can track your usage (past, current & expected), tank levels and delivery dates with your PrepayPower app. And these exclusive Pay-As-You-Go Oil insights help you control your use and reduce your costs year-round.
Am I charged for my sensor?
We provide your sensor at no upfront cost to you. We have a 79-cent daily standing charge that covers the supply, installation and maintenance of your sensor.

When will you fit my sensor?
After you finalise your switch to Pay-As-You-Go Oil with our team, we’ll send you a welcome email with an appointment date for fitting your sensor.
We’ll then call you the day before to confirm the appointment. Finally, our engineers will contact you when they’re due to arrive at your home.
I have my sensor. When will I get my first delivery of Pay-As-You-Go Oil?
We’re now measuring your oil usage and tank levels, so don’t worry about running low. We’ll contact you - via email, phone and SMS - to confirm your first delivery when your oil levels reach approximately 20% of tank capacity.
Can I reschedule my sensor appointment?
Yes. Our team will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a more suitable date. You can contact us on 1800 911 988, our website or via the chatroom in your PrepayPower app. We’ll then get in touch to confirm the new appointment.
