Restore Power: Smart Pay meter
We will need you to enter a code into the meter, but only if it’s safe to do so and you can reach the meter from ground level or with the use of a stable stepladder. Please only do this if you’re comfortable doing so, or if you can ask another member of the household or neighbour to help with this.
Step 1: Go to the Meter and press B – A – B, but only if it is safe to do so and you can reach the meter from ground level or with the use of a stable step ladder, as we will need you to enter a code on the meter. Please only do this if you are comfortable doing so, or if you can ask another member of the household or neighbor to help with this.

Step 2: Go to the “History” section of your PrepayPower App and locate the most recent Top Up(s) you have purchased. Tap on the Top Up to view the code. Please note it may take longer than usual to access your app due to high volumes of traffic on it.

Step 3: Bearing in mind the safety advisory in step 1:
- press A on your meter
- type in the code shown in your app
- press B
- the meter screen should show “Accepted”
Please note if you have purchased multiple top up codes, you will need to enter each of them seperately.

Step 4: Your power should be restored, if your power does not turn back on then please press B-A-B again.
